Introductory theme: Voyeurism

Collaborators have been invited to be part of the new ReVision Art Collective and show in
its premiere exhibition Voyeurism in the ReVision Arts online gallery. This theme is inspired
by the current advancements of a more intrusive form of social networking. It derives from an
on-going dialogue amongst ourselves and fellow designers on the current state of profile based
online relationships. We invited international designers to be part of this dialogue by expanding
their very own interpretation into a form of visual communication.

Voyeurism: From the French voyeur, “one who looks” can take several forms, but its principal
characteristic is that the voyeur does not normally relate directly with the subject of their interest,
who is often unaware of being observed. In our current state of technology and our involvement
of many aspects of Social Media, we have come to an impasse of what is considered “private.”
Your submitted work will be a commentary on what it means to be a voyeur in a world where
everything is shared.

Brief: Submitted work will be a commentary on what it means to be a voyeur in a world where
everything is shared. Work is created in any medium designers see fit, based on your interpretation
of Voyeurism (motion, print, etc…). Designers are encouraged to not limit themselves to the Creative Suites
or common mediums used to produce graphic arts.

Opening of the Voyeurism exhibition is anticipated for mid December 2011.
